Lisa Gauchey is a global Human Resources executive and licensed attorney with three decades of experience helping organizations and employees discover that well-designed HR practices can go beyond compliance and box-checking to really help them work better together. Prior to launching her consulting business, Lisa instituted:
– multiple compensation programs that improved consistency, equity, and competitiveness to market,
– performance management systems that delivered actionable feedback and accurate differentiation, and
– succession planning and leadership development platforms that increased the diversity and readiness of future talent.
She achieves impact in every new environment by first making sure to understand its unique dynamics and challenges. This has included a tribal welcoming ceremony with the elders of a cocoa-growing community in Ghana, scaling the gangway from a tender onto an oil tanker whose crew was facing some employee relations challenges, and saving the General Counsel’s water bottle from a monkey in Indonesia (OK, the monkey won that one).
Lisa has presented at DisruptHR, PNP, and Hudson Valley Women in Business. She has also volunteered with Urban Pathways, and currently serves on the Advisory Council of USA for UNFPA.
